Below is a brief summary of the most important practical information.
Collect your Start Card

Have you registered in advance? If so, you still need to collect your Start Card.
Along with your start card, you will receive a wristband indicating which route you are walking.
Please make sure to bring:
- your confirmation email with the QR code
- on paper or on your smartphone
- Make sure the QR code is clearly legible
That’s also how you’ve been given any options you may have, such as:
- Spend the night
- breakfast
- T-shirt
- bus transport for the 50 km
Have you lost this? If so, we’ll look up your registration details on the spot.
You can collect on Friday 1 May
- from 3 pm to 7 pm
- at the starting point Maerlant in Blankenberge (Vredelaan; Blankenberge – map)
You can also collect on Saturday 2 or Sunday 3 May
- from 7 am in Blankenberge for the 7, 15, 24 and 32 km routes (Vredelaan; Blankenberge – map)
- from 6.30 am in Knokke for the 50 km walk on Saturday (Lippensplein 1a; Knokke-Heist – map)
Are you walking the 50 km and taking the Two-Days Bus from Blankenberge?
Please collect your Start Card and bus ticket in Blankenberge, preferably on Friday. The bus to Knokke leaves at 6.30 am sharp on Saturday from Blankenberge Town Hall. This means there will be little or no time on Saturday morning to collect your race number in Blankenberge first.

Starting Times
You can start from:
- 50 km: from 7.00 am to 8.30 am, Saturdays only
- 32 km: from 8.00 am to 10.00 am, Sundays only
- 24 km: from 8.00 am to 11.00 am
- 15 km: from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm
- 7 km: from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm
You can finish from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.
On Saturdays, the finish area remains open until 7.00 pm for the 50 km race.

Rest stops and opening hours

A list of rest stops and opening hours is available online at Rest Stops.
Be sure to check this before you set off, as the supply points open and close depending on the different distances and estimated arrival times.
That way, you’ll know in advance:
- where there are rest stops and their opening hours
- where there are toilets
- where supplies are provided
- where you can still buy something yourself at our Two-Days shop or at one of the many shops along the way
Please note: a rest stop may already be closed if you set off later than planned or walk more slowly than the timetable allows.

Bus for the 50 km

For the 50 km walk on Saturday, buses will depart from Blankenberge to Knokke.
- Meeting point: Blankenberge Town Hall, J.F. Kennedyplein 1 (map)
- Departure: 6.30 am sharp
- only for those who booked bus transport in advance
New bookings for coach transport are no longer possible.
Be sure to bring your confirmation with the QR code, or collect your bus ticket along with your race number on Friday.

Have you ordered a T-shirt?
You can then collect this:
- on Friday in Blankenberge, along with your start card
- or at the end of the walk at the Two-Days shop in Blankenberge.
Please make sure you bring your confirmation with the QR code.
Haven’t ordered a T-shirt? We still have a few left in our Two-Days Shop at the start/finish line.
Spend the night with the Two-Days

Have you booked an overnight stay as part of the Two-Days walk?
Accommodation is available at the Sint-Jozef Sint-Pieter Blankenberge sports centre (Weststraat 86; Blankenberge – map), less than 500 metres from the start and finish.
The accommodation is open:
- Friday 1 May from 5.00 pm to Saturday 9.30 am
- Saturday 2 May from 5.00 pm to Sunday 9.30 am
Important:
- eigen slaapzak en veldbed zijn noodzakelijk
- Showers are available during the opening hours
- There is no parking available at the accommodation
- There is a general ban on smoking, both indoors and outdoors
Breakfast and a packed lunch are included for those who have booked this. You will receive the vouchers for these when you collect your start card on Friday.

Advance registration is no longer possible.
On-the-spot registration is now only available for:
- 7 km
- 15 km
On-the-spot registration is not available for the 24, 32 and 50 km races.

Accessibility and parking

Are you coming by train?
Forget congestion and parking problems. Make the right choice and come to the Two-Days Walk by train! Blankenberge railway station is just a few minutes’ walk from the starting point. At the weekend, you can enjoy a 30% discount on your return journey, and with Train+ you get an even bigger discount! If you’re under 26 or over 65, you’ll travel with a 40% discount on your return journey. What’s more, with Train+ you’ll never pay more than €5.50 (in 2nd class) per journey.

De Lijn – The Coastal Tram or bus
The start location is about 100 metres from the tram stop at the marina (stop “Park” ) or less than 500 metres from it at the railway station (stop “Station”).
The bus stop at the Market Square is close to the start and finish point of the Two-Days Walk.

Are you coming by bike?
At the starting point, there is plenty of space to park your bike.
Are you coming by coach?
It is best for walkers to get off at Blankenberge Town Hall (John F. Kennedyplein 1; Blankenberge – map)
This is about a 5-minute walk from the starting point.
Are you coming by car?
Please be aware that Blankenberge can get very busy.
- Most parking spaces are pay-and-display
- You can also park in Wenduine or Zeebrugge.
From there, you can take the tram to Blankenberge.
The tram stops within walking distance of the start.

Along the walk
There are rest stops and refreshment points along the way.
Be sure to bring the following with you:
- enough water, or at least a water bottle.
(Hint: we also have some lovely models in our Tweedaagse shop in Blankenberge) - perhaps something extra to eat;
- appropriate clothing;
- sun protection or rainwear, depending on the weather;
- a fully charged smartphone if you’re using the route map digitally;
On arrival
Upon arrival, we’ll create that familiar Two-Days atmosphere.
On arrival, you’ll receive your badge and/or medal, a freshly fried fish sandwich and a can of Filou.
There’s a great atmosphere with disco bars, entertainment and live performances. Our guests from La Randonnée 4 Jours and Chantonnay add a touch of local colour with their “Dance de la brioche” and tastings of brioche and their regional wine.
En in onze bar serveren we ons eigen “Toontjes”-bier. Een super verfrissende blonde pils.
